Terrell Owens is proving he's a real contender on Dancing with the Stars this fall on ABC.

Terrell, nicknamed T.O., is a 43-year-old former NFL football wide receiver and six-time Pro Bowler.

The former T.O. Show star is partnered with Cheryl Burke for Dancing with the Stars' 25th season this fall on ABC.

Although the pair got off to a little bit of a rough start, Terrell and Cheryl are surviving the cut week to week and improving with each passing dance rehearsal.

Cheryl is due for another mirrorball trophy and Terrell has a great work ethic, so we'll see how far they can make it this season. Curious to learn more about this 6'3" handsome and outspoken athlete?

- Terrell Eldorado Owens, born in Alexander City, AL, on December 7, 1973. He attended Benjamin Russell High School, where he excelled in several different sports.

- The father of four was previously married to Rachel Snider from 2014 to 2015.

- Terrell considers himself too trusting and loyal to a fault. He prays a lot to keep his mind off negative things, such as being called negative and cocky by critics and the press.

- He was recruited by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), where he set a record for catching a football pass in 11 consecutive games.

- The DWTS contestant wrote a children's book called Little T Learns to Share as well as a fitness book entitled T.O.'s Finding Fitness.

- Terrell was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 1996 NFL draft andspent eight seasons with the team.

Terrell joined the Philadelphia Eagles team in 2004 and averaged one touchdown per game. He later went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys. Terrell entered his 14th NFL season with the Buffalo Bills. He also added stints with the Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks to his resume.

- He loves to go bowling as an escape from his busy life, and he also enjoys playing pick-up basketball in his free time. 

- Terrell made 1078 Receptions, 15,935 yards and 153 touchdowns during the span of his 15 year professional football career. He also has a recorded five seasons with 13 or more touchdowns.

- He is partnered with the Alzheimer's Association, which is near and dear to his heart because his beloved grandmother Alice -- who recently passed away -- began suffering from the disease three years ago. He also testified before Congress to raise awareness about the disease.

- Terrell competed on The Celebrity Apprentice's seventh season in 2015 and was fired after the fifth task. At the time, he was playing to win money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
