Teri Hatcher says 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest dumped her

"Desperate Housewives" star Teri Hatcher says "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest ended their budding relationship after only three dates.

Hatcher, a guest on Tuesday's "Oprah Winfrey Show," told the talk host the last time she saw him was in March -- the day a widely published photograph was taken of the couple sharing a smooch, People magazine reported.
"I haven't seen him since that day," Hatcher said. "So all the stuff about everything else is just made up."
After that date -- their third, but the first alone -- Seacrest phoned her and said: "I don't think I can do this with you," Hatcher related.
The actress said to this day, she has no idea why Seacrest decided to bow out.
"I don't know ... I ate too much lobster? ... You'd have to ask him."
