Where's that pesky immunity idol when you need it? Richard Hatch, the flamboyant $1 million winner of CBS's first Survivor series, was arrested Tuesday for a domestic dispute allegedly involving an ex-boyfriend. Middletown, R.I., police spokesman Lt. Barry Smith says a warrant was issued for Hatch's arrest after the victim filed a complaint Monday.

Hatch pleaded not guilty to the charge yesterday in District Court, Newport.

Hatch and his lawyer had visited the court yesterday seeking a restraining order against Hatch's ex-boyfriend Glenn Boyanowski, who works in Middletown. There, they learned that the Middletown Police Department had issued a warrant for Hatch's arrest, stemming from an incident at Hatch's Middletown home on Monday.

In court, Hatch, 40, appeared before Judge Robert K. Pirraglia. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and was ordered to return to court on Sept. 7 for a pretrial conference.

The court also granted Hatch a temporary order of protection from abuse from Boyanowski, according to Behan.
