Taylor, born in Knoxville, TN, passed away in a Chattanooga local hospital on Tuesday from the injuries he sustained after getting thrown from the front passenger seat of a car amidst the vehicle striking a garage wall, the Chattanooga Times Free Press reported.

Although the single-vehicle accident is reportedly still under investigation, the crash occurred on Germantown Road and the driver was also taken to the hospital but only suffered minor injuries.

According to Taylor's obituary, he loved soccer, snowboarding, wakeboarding, motocross, the outdoors, camping, and fishing. Taylor is revived by Tina, Katie, his father and stepmother, grandparents, and longtime girlfriend Brittany Boles -- whom he had been dating for six years, according to Boles' father.

The family will be having a private memorial service.

Tina and Katie are castaways on Survivor: Blood vs. Water, which is currently airing on CBS. Tina is competing as a returning castaway, as she previously won Survivor: The Australian Outback and was subsequently the first person voted out of Survivor: All-Stars. Katie came into Survivor: Blood vs. Water as Tina's "loved one."

Both Tina and Katie are on Redemption Island at this point in the season and will battle in the game's next duel during next Wednesday night's Survivor: Blood vs. Water episode.
