Snooki & Jwoww will be returning with the new year.

MTV has announced the second season of Snooki & Jwoww will premiere early next year on Tuesday, January 8 at 10PM ET/PT.

The reality series' upcoming season will continue to star Jersey Shore besties Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley and air as 12 one-hour episodes.

Snooki & Jwoww's first season featured the girls living together for "one last bachelorette hurrah before settling down to focus on the demands of partnership and parenthood surrounding Snooki's engagement and baby news and JWOWW's tumultuous relationship with [Roger Mathews]," according to the network.

The second season will feature less Jersey Shore drama, as Snooki will go into labor and give birth to son Lorenzo, while JWOWW will also get engaged to boyfriend Mathews and the couple will take on the adventure of sky-diving together.

Howeve, despite their new responsibilities and husbands-to-be, Snooki and JWOWW will still also enjoy a night or two out together on the town, according to MTV. 

Snooki & Jwoww is produced by 495 Productions, with Sally Ann Salsano and Jacquelyn French serving as executive producers.
