'Show Me the Money' to take over 'Dancing with the Stars' timeslot

UPI News Service, 10/26/2006

ABC has filled its open Wednesday night slot with "Show Me the Money," a game show hosted by William Shatner based around trivia questions.

"Show Me the Money" is from Endemol USA, the producer of "Deal or No Deal" and "1 vs. 100," Zap2it.com reported Thursday.

The game show is set to debut on Nov. 22, a week after "Dancing with the Stars" ends.

The game's players will have to answer trivia questions to accumulate cash, but ACS revealed there is also a "never-before-seen" rule in the game that can either multiply or take away from the player's earnings.

"Show Me the Money" is the second new show ABC is debuting on Wednesdays in November.

The new drama "Day Break" will take the spot of "Lost" reruns starting Nov. 15 to try and keep the latter show out of repeats this season.
