Shannen Doherty to star in Oxygen network 'Breaking Up' reality show

Former "Beverly Hills, 90210" bad girl Shannen Doherty is starring in her own reality TV show for the cable TV Oxygen network, it was reported in Los Angeles.

"Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty" will have the star rescuing people from "toxic relationships," Daily Variety reported Friday.

Each episode will have her going undercover to assess each relationship before deciding either to leave the lovebirds alone or destroy the pairing.

"Shannen belongs on Oxygen -- she is the ideal addition to our roster of ... sometimes controversial women," said Oxygen Media President of Programming and Marketing Debby Beece.
