However, it's not clear whether Disick will actually attend the party considering things must be tough between himself and Kourtney Kardashian, 36, in light of reports she's been "hooking up" with singer Justin Bieber, 21, for several months.
An insider previously told the magazine the fling "stings" Disick and he thinks she's doing it out of revenge for his past mistakes. While it hurts Disick, he allegedly called Kourtney's behavior dumb and immature.
Regardless, the source told People that Disick will definitely spend time with his three children -- Mason, 6, Penelope, and Reign, 1 -- on Christmas Day.
As for the Christmas Eve celebration which Disick might join in on, Kim Kardashian revealed on her website last week the gathering has been a longtime tradition, dating back to as long as she can remember.
"[This year] we have definitely downsized the party because I think the older we get, and with all of us being so busy, it's more important to spend the holidays with our immediate family and really close friends," Kim reportedly said.
On Christmas day, the family will head over to Kourtney's house, where they'll spend the entire morning opening up presents in their pajamas. Disick is expected to be a part of what Kim dubbed "a fun tradition."
Disick will eventually be ringing in the New Year with an appearance at 1 Oak nightclub in Las Vegas.
