Ryan Seacrest isn't confirming or denying whether he's planning a secret wedding to girlfriend Julianne Hough.

"Secretively? If I do it secretively, how would I get married? Then she wouldn't even know! It would defeat the whole purpose of it," Seacrest told The Insider late last week.

The 38-year-old American Idol host, who added he's never even attended a secret wedding before, also dodged whether he has any plans at all to wed Hough in the near future.

"Not on New Year's Eve!" Seacrest joked.

Seacrest and the 24-year-old actress and former Dancing with the Stars professional dancer have been dating for about two years.

Hough admitted in October that Seacrest was actually her "first celebrity crush" so she felt fortunate to end up dating him.
