Ryan, who frequently appears on Teen Mom OG -- as he's the ex of star Maci Bookout and father of her 9-year-old son Bentley -- was arrested in his Tennessee home on Tuesday, Us Weekly reported.

Ryan, 30, was taken into custody around 3PM ET, and Red Bank City police told Us that he was arrested for violating his probation in connection with a prior heroin possession.

A representative for Hamilton County Jail told RadarOnline that Ryan was held on $5,000 bond but secured his release with collateral hours later at 10:15PM that day.

During a December 2017 episode of Teen Mom OG, Ryan disclosed his drug of choice was heroin. Mackenzie reportedly claimed on the show that her husband was spending $10,000 a week on the narcotic.

But in May 2017, Ryan reportedly completed a 30-day rehab stint.

Ryan's latest run-in with the law came just one day after MTV announced he's expecting a baby with his 21-year-old wife Mackenzie Standifer. This will be their first child together.

MTV revealed the big news in a Monday preview clip for next week's episode of Teen Mom OG. In the teaser clip, Mackenzie -- who is mom to 4-year-old son Hudson with her first husband Zachary Stephens -- was thrilled to show a producer her positive pregnancy test.

As fans may recall, Ryan was caught falling asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle during an earlier episode of Teen Mom OG.

"I made the decision to check myself into a rehabilitation facility. I am back home now doing well, and life could not be better," Ryan said in a statement at the time he had finished treatment, according to Us.

"Without the support of my wife and parents, I would not have been able to do this. Thank you all for your well wishes."

As for Maci, 26, she is still happily married to husband Taylor McKinney. The couple are parents to daughter Jayde, 2, and son Maverick, 21 months.
