A quick check of Amazon.com's latest CD sales rank figures (as of 11AM ET this morning) shows that while Ruben's Flying Without Wings/Superstar CD has been charging hard and closing ground on Clay's This Is The Night/On The Wings Of Love CD , Ruben's CD still ranks at #2 while Clay's CD remains at #1 for a sixth straight day.

As we reported on Monday, Clay's CD initially jumped out to an enormous lead for over Ruben's CD, with Clay's CD being ranked #1 overall as early as Saturday while Ruben languished at #240. While Clay has remained at #1 ever since, Ruben has steadily risen from #240 to #94 on Monday morning, to #40 on noontime Tuesday, and finally to #5 last evening before the finale aired.

Will Clay continue to hold off Ruben's sales charge? Or will Ruben take his rightful place atop the CD Sales List? Stay tuned...
