Robert Valletta says he recently split from girlfriend Scheana Marie.
"Sadly we broke up, we are still amazing friends and we adore each other," he responded. "We will see what happens."
E! News reported Valletta and Marie chose to end their nine-month relationship because of their busy schedules.
The pair reportedly haven't ruled out a reconciliation in the future.
"Because of work commitments, Scheana and Rob felt it best to hit pause on their relationship for now," a source said. "They're still very involved in each other's lives and remain optimistic about their future.""Right now the timing isn't right for them romantically," another insider added.
"He'd be open to reconnecting maybe at some point but it's just not the right time now to date. They're still in touch, of course."
Valletta and Marie started dating in January following the reality star's split from husband Michael Shay in November.
Valetta is known for playing Dan Hall on "Days of Our Lives" and Plum on "The Young and the Restless."
