Jersey Shore's cast members have reportedly been told to turn down their hard-partying ways.

MTV is attempting to ban the reality series' cast from drinking alcohol until filming for its second season begins, Fox News reported Thursday.

The claim was seemingly confirmed by cast member Jenni "Jwoww" Farley, who stayed away from alcohol while making a recent appearance at a Boston event.

"MTV doesn't want [the cast] to drink," she told Fox News.

In addition, Farley also confirmed a recent New York Post report in which Jersey Shore's cast was instructed by MTV to "limit" their appearances or face possible fines or legal action.

Still, Farley said she's found ways around the MTV mandate by booking stuff "under the radar," according to Fox News, which also reported "Jwoww" is scheduled to make stops in North Carolina, Florida, Buffalo and Cancun.

"Jwoww is not doing paid appearances across the nation," her representative told Fox News, denying the claim.

"She is visiting family and friends in other cities like she has doing for the last 10 years. She has always followed MTV guidelines and will continue to do so."

MTV did not respond to Fox News' request for comment.

Jersey Shore's first-season cast will all return for the reality show's second season, which won't be set in Seaside Heights, NJ and will instead follow the cast in a "new destination."
