The Hills star, who recently made headlines for her elopement in Mexico with beau Spencer Pratt, was reportedly in talks to become a contestant on the eighth season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, Us Weeklyreported Monday.
Montag's sister Molly Montag declined to confirm Us' source's claim when approached by the magazine, saying only that "we try to keep our business separate from family."
The eighth-season celebrity cast -- which was announced last Sunday during ABC's All Night Name Drop segments -- does not include Montag, nor was she the subject of any of the season's rampant pre-announcement rumors.
Montag would have hardly been the first reality star to put on their dancing shoes and go on the ABC reality dancing competition.
In addition to the upcoming eighth season's inclusion of Jackass and Dr. Steve-O star Steven "Steve-O" Glover and It's Complicated star Denise Richards, the seventh season's cast included former Rock Star host Brooke Burke, former The Restaurant star and Rocco Gets Real star Rocco DiSpirito, and Keeping up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian. Original The Bachelorette star Trista Sutter was also part of Dancing with the Stars' first season cast.
