The former American Idol finalist -- who had widely been considered Idol's tenth-season frontrunner but was shockingly eliminated from the show earlier this month -- has revealed she'd like to participate on this fall's edition of Dancing with the Stars.

"Not yet," the 22-year-old told Idol host Ryan Seacrest went asked if she has been invited to compete on Dancing with the Stars' next season during a Thursday appearance on his On Air with Ryan Seacrest radio show.

"[But] I'm definitely a huge fan, so its definitely something that I would love to do!"

Toscano is scheduled to perform on Dancing with the Stars' results show next Tuesday -- becoming the first current-season Idol finalist to ever do so -- but Toscano said the arrangement was a very simple one.

"Honestly, I was just asked to appear on the show. It's one of my favorite shows, besides American Idol. So, I thought it would be a great idea. I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be fun," she said.

Reports that the singer is dating Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Mark Ballas have swirled ever since the pair were spotted leaving a Los Angeles restaurant together the night following her Idol elimination, however Toscano has denied the couple -- who have continued to spend time together -- is dating and insisted they're just "good friends."

Toscano, when asked whether Ballas knew she was going to perform on his show, claimed he had no idea.

"My management asked me... No, no. [Ballas] didn't even know!" she exclaimed
