Paige Davis' 'Trading Spaces' hosting job "could be on the line" over racy TV Guide cover

Woops, so much for that sweet, wholesome image. According to the NY Post's Page Six, Paige Davis, the perpetually perky host of TLC's hit reality remodeling show "Trading Spaces," has upset the network by showing what they feel is "too much skin" on one of two covers for next week's issue of "TV Guide."
The cover (shown at right) features Paige wrapped in nothing but two strips of wallpaper (although they are rather LARGE pieces of wallpaper.) Page SIx sources say that after the photo shoot, a TLC staffer called the magazine's photo department and asked them to run another shot, citing the no-nudity clause in Davis' TLC contract. Davis' personal publicist then also followed up with a phone call and is said to have claimed that Davis' "job could be on the line" over the photo.
But TV Guide, recognizing that it might have a geniune much-ado-about-nothing sales-boosting controversy on its hands, refused to give in and the photo with the racy photo will hit the newstands on August 16.
