Oxygen has announced Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love, a new reality series that will chronicle former professional athlete Deion "Prime Time" Sanders and his family's everyday life, will premiere with a special episode broadcast during Super Bowl XLII's halftime on Sunday, February 3.

"Get ready for a very entertaining, very Oxygen halftime show," said Lauren Zalaznick, president of Bravo Media and Oxygen Media. "We couldn't think of a better way to give our audience a sneak peak of Deion and Pilar. It's a fun show about a bigger than life personality who just happens to be a football legend."

Following its commercial free, 22-minute sneak-peek broadcast on February 3, Prime Time Love will air in its regular Tuesdays at 10:30PM ET/PT time slot beginning April 15.

Prime Time Love is set in Prosper, a rural Texas town with a population of roughly 2,000 that Deion, his wife Pilar, and their five children call home.

However small-town life is tough on the Sanders family, as Deion is accustomed to the spotlight as a former sports star who excelled in both the NFL and MLB while his wife is a former model.  Pilar, a former model, is currently a stay-at-home mom while Deion busies himself as a co-host for the NFL Network's NFL Gameday show.  However she's ready to step-out of her husband's shadow -- that is if he'll let her.

Prime Time Love's Super Bowl sneak-peek episode will feature Deion refusing to do housework so he can instead ponder his football picks for a live radio show that week -- much to Pilar's chagrin -- while their daughter Deiondra has a date and her over-protective father offers to help her prepare.

The previously announced eight-episode series is executive produced by Deion; Sam Sokolow and Rob Lobl for SokoLobl Entertainment; as well as Kevin Lee for Tollbooth TV.
