Original 'Idol' Kelly Clarkson says third album will be different

Kelly Clarkson says her new CD will be something different, but then she told The Los Angeles Times she tries to come out with a different record every time.

The "American Idol" winner's third album is scheduled to hit stores July 24. It has already produced a Top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100, "Never Again."

Clarkson either wrote or co-wrote each song on the new album from RCA Records.

Her 2004 album "Breakaway" sold 6 million copies in the United States.
