NeNe Leakes says she's given Teresa Giudice "real, true advice."
Giudice and husband Joe Giudice were sentenced to 15 and 41 months in federal prison, respectively, on multiple charges of fraud in October. The couple will serve their terms separately on account of their four daughters, and Leakes told Cohen she has been there to support Giudice.
"Teresa and I have had lots of conversations," she revealed. "We've talked a lot. She called me for some help with some other things and I helped her out ... I feel like when Teresa calls me, she knows that she's going to get real, true advice. She's just asking me for help with what I think about certain things."
"Teresa, the day she got sentenced, I did not call her and I did not text her," she related. "I said to her when I spoke to her, 'I know so many people are texting you and calling you and I didn't wanna be that person. I wanna talk to you cause you know I would talk to you very real, and we would just have a very real conversation.' So we did!"
Leakes and Giudice became friends at Bravo network events, and have spoken several times since Giudice's sentencing. The reality star said she would "love" to see Giudice before she goes to prison, and declared she "really would" visit the television personality once she is incarcerated."The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Part three of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" reunion show will air Nov. 11, while "Secrets Revealed - Part Two" will air Nov. 20.
