NBC announces Dane Cook to appear on 'Last Comic Standing' finale

U.S. comedian Dane Cook is set to appear on the season finale of the reality TV series "Last Comic Standing," NBC said Monday.

The winner of the comedy competition will be revealed during a two-hour season ending episode set to air Wednesday.
During the show, finalists Lavell Crawford and Jon Reep will be roasted by fellow comics, including Jeffrey Ross, top 10 finalist Doug Benson and talent scout and Season 3 winner, Alonzo Bodden.
Cook will also make an appearance to wish the contestants luck on their quest for the grand prize of $250,000, an exclusive talent contact with NBC Universal and a half-hour comedy special on Bravo.
Auditions for this season's contestants were in London, Montreal, Sydney, Australia, Los Angeles, New York, Minneapolis, San Antonio and Tempe.
