The special will feature more than 40 former contestants from the first seven seasons of the weight-loss reality series as they update viewers on if they've been able to keep the unwanted weight off and what else has been happing in their lives.

Several former contestants have decided to help others lose weight since appearing on The Biggest Loser -- including fourth-season winner Bill Germanakos, who now works as a wellness ambassador for his company and does motivational speaking across the country; seventh-season cousins Filipe and Sione Fa, who are working toward their certification as personal trainers; first-season finalist Drea Baptiste, who is now a fitness director; and seventh-season "at home" winner Jerry Hayes and his wife Estella, who have motivated their daughter to lose 88 lbs..

However some former contestants have struggled to keep the weight off, including third-season winner Erik Chopin, who will also be included in the special.

Also featured on the special will be second-season finalists Dr. Jerry Levine and "at home" winner Pete Thomas; fourth-season finalist David Griffin; fifth-season winner and the show's first-ever female champ Ali Vincent and her mom Bette Sue; fifth-season brothers Mark and Jay Kruger; sixth-season winner Michelle Aguilar and finalists Vicky Vilcan and Jerry Skeabeck; and seventh-season winner Helen Phillips and fellow finalists Tara Costa, Ron Morelli and Mike Morelli.

In addition, second-season finalists Matt Hoover and Suzy Preston and third-season finalists Amy and Marty Wolff will also update viewers on their lives as married couples and parents.

The Biggest Loser trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels will also make some "surprising" visits to former contestants.

ABC previously aired a The Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now? special prior to the show's Fall 2007 fourth season, and Marty used it as an opportunity to propose to Amy.

The Biggest Loser eighth-season episodes currently air in the Tuesdays at 8PM ET/PT timeslot on NBC.
