Matt Grant feels that all the fuss over his fiancee Shayne Lamas posing for Girls Gone Wild magazine is much ado about nothing.

"As we English say, I really feel it was 'a storm in a teacup,'" Grant told People in a Friday report.  "I believe it was blown out of all proportion. I stand by Shayne 110%."

Lamas' appearance on the cover of Girls Gone Wild's June 3 issue was made public the day after Grant presented the 22-year-old actress from Malibu, CA with his final rose and a marriage proposal -- both of which she accepted -- during The Bachelor: London Calling's pre-taped finale broadcast.

While the six-page photo spread contains no nudity it does feature several images of Lamas scantily clad, including one in which she's lying on a bed wearing nothing but a wedding veil.

Grant told People that he and Lamas aren't concerned with the photo spread or media speculation that they're relationship is already rocky.

"We sit down together and just laugh off all the ridiculous stories that get thrown our way," the 27-year-old British financier told People.  "All things considered we are doing really well."

Grant and Lamas previously told Reality TV World in a post-The Bachelor interview that they do plan on eventually getting married, however they have yet to set a timetable for when it will actually occur.  The two are currently living together in Lamas' Studio City condominium.

"We have the normal pressures of any couple, but then we have even more added pressures being that we are a reality TV couple, and that I'm leaving my life, friends and family in England to be with her," Grant told People.  "It's been a bit of a whirlwind."
