Married at First Sight star Chris Williams has responded to MAFS viewers bashing him on social media, insisting he's not a narcissist or a jerk and vowing he will never be bullied.

Married at First Sight viewers have been lashing out at Chris and the show's experts for casting him ever since MAFS's twelfth season, which was filmed late last summer in Atlanta, premiered in January on Lifetime.

The Married at First Sight season has shown Chris repeatedly boasting about himself and his accomplishments, making offensive and sexist remarks, discussing his high expectations of a woman's physical looks, talking about his apparent obsession with sex, and marrying a stranger only three months after ending his engagement to a woman he still continued hooking up with after their split.

In addition, Chris was just shown revealing his recent ex-fiancee, Mercedes, was about six weeks pregnant with his child on Wednesday night's Married at First Sight episode.

However, despite everything Married at First Sight viewers have seen, Chris apparently doesn't feel he's demonstrated narcissistic or obnoxious behavior.

"I am not a jerk! I am not narcissistic! I have a heart full of love!" Chris wrote on his Facebook account on Wednesday.

Chris went on a Facebook rant to express how tired he is of being bullied and ridiculed across different social-media platforms.

There are even Married at First Sight fan pages on Facebook that seem to be dedicated to bashing Chris in recent weeks.

"I appreciate people having opinions, but I will never be bullied!" Chris wrote on Facebook.

"The level of nasty comments and disrespect that me and my family and those connected to us have experienced is ridiculous. Cyber bullying will not be tolerated from anyone -- man, boy, dog, girl, or woman or former husbands or wives from the show! I am not unreachable."

Chris suggested people can contact him personally rather than attack him on public forums.

"A conversation can be had at any point in person or over the phone. You can express your concerns and I can clarify them!" Chris explained.

"I 100% have acknowledged my transgressions with those whom I love and who were connected [to the situation] and asked for their forgiveness."

Chris went on claim Married at First Sight  producers had "1000 hours filmed per person" and "10,000 total hours filmed with people involved" (a false exaggeration given cast members were not filmed 24/7 during the season's eight-week production period) and viewers only get to see "2 hours per week" of footage.

"36 total hours [have] aired! And you are an expert on each couple and their personalities?" Chris continued in his rant.

"I am not a jerk! I am not narcissistic! I have a heart full of love! I made a mistake and have acknowledged it with the people closely connected to the situation that matter!"

Chris also exclaimed, "He who is without sin let them cast the first stone!!!"

Chris thanked those fans who have been supportive and noted, "I am human, but will defend me, my family, and everything I have worked hard for while learning from my mistakes!"

"I may get in trouble for this," he added, "but..... LEAVE MERCEDES and her family TF ALONE! If you come for her or Paige, I will come for you!"

Chris concluded shortly before deleting all of his Facebook posts, "I'm done ranting! Enjoy your day! Also to former cast, I am one DM away!"

One former cast member Chris has had an issue with is first-season Married at First Sight star Jamie Otis, who is married to Doug Hehner.

On Tuesday, Lifetime's @mafslifetime Instagram account teased a split photo showing Paige telling Chris she'd "probably have to walk away" if Decision Day was today, a scene which aired on Wednesday night's episode.

The account used the following caption: "A storm is coming. Don't miss all the drama that's to come with a brand new episode of #MarriedAtFirstSight [Wednesday] night at 8/7c."

In the comments section later that day, Jamie wrote, "Paige, no one would blame ya if you wanted to RUN! I feel so bad for the mess you're in! Girllll, you deserve so much better! [Keeping it] 100."

Chris fired back at Jamie both on Instagram and on his Facebook page.

"@Jamie Otis. Did anyone tell your husband to run when you embarrassed him on national tv, crying and pouting like a 5 year old while still in your wedding dress at the altar?" Chris wrote in his post.

"Nothing no one has ever done to their spouse ever compares to that. After two failed stints on the bachelor?"

Similar to how Chris said he was not attracted to Paige after their initial meeting, Jamie burst into tears at the sight of her husband, Doug, on their wedding day. Jamie could barely look Doug in the eye when they exchanged vows, but Jamie ended up falling in love with him.

"You and your husband's story of redemption afterwards is amazing," Chris continued in his post, "but you would think there would be a little more grace from you."

One person wrote to Chris in the comments, "What 'graceful' man would say this? Every single time you open your mouth, garbage comes out. Zip it and learn."

Another Instagram user accused Chris of having a "false inferiority complex."

Many Married at First Sight viewers have been bashing Dr. Viviana Coles and Pastor Calvin Roberson on their respective Instagram accounts for matching "ignorant" Chris with the sweet and seemingly sincere Paige, who "deserved better."

People have been accusing the Married at First Sight experts, including Dr. Pepper Schwartz, of matching the couple to boost ratings.

"Why couldn't there be better representation of a black man for Paige?" one Instagram user commented on one of Pastor Cal's posts. "I'm truly disappointed at the matchmaking. You have to represent better than this for us Pastor Cal. I feel so bad for her."

Married at First Sight experts were also accused of not doing simple background checks and setting Paige up to fail and be humiliated on television for entertainment and drama.

One individual went as far as to say Chris' casting "is an embarrassment to that poor girl and to the black community."

Viviana has urged viewers to "chill out" and not have such "strong" reactions to the Season 12 cast's "shocking behavior," which are statements that landed unfavorably with angry fans and cast members.

On Married at First Sight's Wednesday night episode, Chris clarified of his ex-fiancee during a conversation with his co-star Vincent Morales, "We've been broken up since May 2020, but that wasn't the last time we had sex, for sure."

Chris said his ex had known about her pregnancy "for a few weeks" but she didn't tell him right away.

During a nice dinner out in Las Vegas on their honeymoon, Chris revealed to Paige that his ex-fiancee was six weeks along and he had been intimate with her after her father passed away -- even though they were broken up and not on good terms at the time.

Paige admitted if that day was "Decision Day," she would walk away, but Chris promised his wife that he was "in it for the long haul" and his attraction to her had grown since their wedding.

Paige asked Chris if he still had strong feelings for his ex and if she thought there was a possibility of them getting back together.

"Right now, it doesn't matter if she's pregnant or not. You are my wife and nobody comes before you, so it doesn't matter what is going on with that. All that matters is the woman I made a vow to," Chris insisted.

Chris suggested to Paige that they should build a friendship and get to know on a deeper level, and Paige said she liked that idea because "God doesn't give you anything that you can't handle."

It appeared the couple had turned over a new leaf and were ready to take things on as a team, but Chris later had an emotional breakdown because neither Paige or himself seemed happy like the other four Married at First Sight couples appeared to be.

"I feel like I'm stuck in this and I'm crying because I've got a baby on the way. There's a lot going through my mind," Chris vented to the cameras.
