Married at First Sight star Bobby Dodd wouldn't let anything get in the way of achieving a successful marriage with Danielle Bergman -- not even their beloved dogs.

When Bobby and Danielle were matched by Married at First Sight experts for Season 7 based in Dallas, they both made it known they're huge dog lovers and they needed a spouse who would be supportive of that.

Danielle's passion for dogs even led her to becoming a foster parent for abandoned pets in need of their forever homes.

So naturally, during Tuesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, host Jamie Otis couldn't believe her ears when Bobby insisted he'd give up his black lab, Nelly, if it meant saving his marriage.

"What if Danielle came into your house and said, 'Either I go or the dogs go?'" Jamie asked Bobby.

"Well, I'd have to get rid of the dogs. I'm married," the 27-year-old project manager replied.

Jamie was especially shocked by Bobby's revelation because he had been married to Danielle for only one week at the time she moved into his home with his dog.

Jamie was comparing a one-week relationship with Danielle to Bobby's relationship with Nelly, his best friend and loyal companion for years.

"Yeah, I would gamble Nelly on this [marriage]," Bobby confirmed.

Pastor Calvin Roberson, one of the Married at First Sight experts, then shook Bobby's hand to show he was impressed. Pastor Cal gushed, "I love it!"

Bobby also reasoned that a household is never easy with a puppy but a married couple must choose to endure the highs and lows.

When reflecting on what it was like to foster a puppy golden retriever and lab mix, Bobby explained, "You have to keep in mind, you know, they're going to pee, poo, not sleep -- constantly, all day. You know that's going to happen, so you have to just expect it."

Bobby and Danielle weren't the only couple on Married at First Sight this season to come across some obstacles in their household due to owning pets.

Amber Martorana, a 36-year-old division order analyst, brought a cat named Paisley into her marriage to Dave Flaherty, a 37-year-old senior portfolio manager, who said the cat was "more rambunctious" than he had hoped.

As shown on recent episodes of the Lifetime reality series, Paisley likes to unroll the toilet paper in the bathroom, and at one point, she got into Dave's living-room plant.

"That's typical [behavior]," Amber said on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, admitting her pet wasn't just lashing out because of the move to Dave's place.

"She is a troublemaker. Her name should be Trouble; she will get into anything she can. And you didn't see her knock over his [succulent] bowl."

Amber added she's proud of the fact she's a "crazy cat lover," according to Jamie.
