At this point in the season, couples are looking to marry, move in together, or just get through life one day at a time in attempt to leave each convict's addiction or struggle in the past.

The latest episode starred Scott, a 51-year-old truck driver, and Lizzie from Oxnard, CA; Clint, a 37-year-old hotel desk clerk, and Tracie from Hobbs, NM; Marcelino, a 40-year-old writer, and Brittany from Las Vegas, NV; Caitlin, a 32-year-old administrative assistant, and Matt from Auburn, WA; and Megan, a 28-year-old in home health care, and Michael from Fort Worth, TX -- with Michael's wife, Sarah, a 24-year-old student and waitress making for a dramatic love triangle.

Below is an update on each Love After Lockup couple, according to WE tv's Friday night episode:

SCOTT AND LIZZIE

Lizzie had been arrested for DUI and bribery and spent nine years behind bars.

Five days out of prison, Lizzie went shopping for a wedding dress, and her daughter Jazmyne joined her despite disapproving of her mother's marriage.

Lizzie expected her wedding day to feature a beautiful dress, the release of butterflies "fluttering in the air," a horse-drawn white carriage. Little did she know, however, Scott was completely broke and had no money left.

Jazmyne was annoyed because she thought her mother should be focusing on getting her life back together and finding a job instead of marrying a man she's known for a short amount of time. Jazmyne also wanted to spend more time with Lizzie.

Lizzie could definitely see herself marrying Scott, a man whom she said loved her and cared for her. Jazmyne, however, begged her mother find her own way. Jazmyne thought Lizzie was "screwing up" her life and blinded by Scott's money and support.

Jazmyne said it was only a matter of time her mother would discover Scott was "a trick."

Later on, Scott surprised Lizzie with a new car and a mouth filled with new temporary teeth. Scott said the teeth were really uncomfortable but he wanted to make his fiancee happy, and she thought he looked amazing.

"Before, he looked like a homeless guy, and now he looks like 'Mr. GQ,'" Lizzie told the cameras.

Lizzie's driver's license had been revoked due to "eight DUIs" but she was working on obtaining one so she could drive her new car out of the parking lot.

Lizzie saw Scott as her ticket to "a stable life."

MEGAN AND MICHAEL (PLUS HIS WIFE SARAH)

Michael served two years in prison for parole violation.

Sarah thought her marriage was going pretty well after celebrating a happy Father's Day with Michael and their daughter. Sarah had yet to tell Michael she was pregnant again, however, as she was just waiting for the right time.

Meanwhile, Megan was upset because she gave Michael her virginity and then believed he had to leave for violating his parole.

Megan was desperate to spend more time with Michael and also meet his daughter. She thought it was time to advance their relationship to the next level.

Michael told Megan that his mother and sister would be visiting around the same time Megan wanted to visit him at home in Farmington, NY, but she didn't care. In fact, Megan suggested she should meet his family members at the time of her visit.

"I hope I can see her next week, but I can't let Sarah find out because there could be problems due to my parole officer. I don't have no wiggle room to make any mistakes," Michael told the cameras.

A few days later, Megan traveled to visit Michael in New York because she loved him while Michael spent some time with his mother.

Michael's mother advised him to drop Megan and focus on his wife and baby because so much was at risk.

"I'm trying to figure everything out. I love Sarah. I've been with her for six years. I think I'm at the phase where, like, I make a lot of excuses for why I do what I do. My intention is never to hurt her," Michael told his mom, who then insisted he should make things work with Sarah.

Michael was struggling with being grounded while also exploring the world around him given he lost so many years of his life from being in prison. Michael also admitted to being infatuated with women, saying it was difficult to be loyal to one girl.

Michael decided he was going to be "real" with Megan and "end it" with her once she arrived in New York. Michael knew it wasn't going to be easy, but he was trying to be the man he was born to be.

When Michael went to pick Megan up at the airport, his heart was conflicted because he loved two women at once. He hoped he could follow through with his mother's guidance.

Megan bought a one-way ticket to New York so she could stay for as long as she wanted.

"I've never been in a situation like this. I've got to tell you something," Michael told her before the episode ended.

CLINT AND TRACIE

Tracie served eight years in prison for fraudulent checks and probation violation.

Clint was missing his wife terribly. He had been home for about two weeks without his wife.

The last time he saw Tracie was the night of their wedding, because the day after, she stole his rental car and money and took off to feed her addiction without so much as a phone call to her husband.

Clint had so many unanswered questions, but then Tracie finally called him from jail. Tracie explained she had violated her parole because she got pulled over by a police officer for speeding 12 days after the wedding and then never reported it to her parole officer.

Tracie was therefore brought to criminal jail and was behind bars without bond. She didn't know what was going to happen next or when she could get out, but Tracie promised Clint she never left him and cared about him.

Tracie questioned Clint why he wanted to be with her when she's "a party girl" and constantly messes up in life, but Clint loved her and absolutely didn't even want to consider a divorce.

CAITLIN AND MATT

Matt spent two years in jail for possession of firearms and stolen property.

Matt went to a jewelry store to shop for a diamond engagement ring for Caitlin although they had recently got into a big fight.

At the end of the day, Matt loved Caitlin and felt she deserved a ring, especially because she had visited him in jail and called him more when he was behind bars than any of his friends.

Matt really couldn't afford the cost of a ring, but he was planning on making it work somehow for his fiancee.

Caitlin later revealed her aunt had informed her that her mother passed away in her sleep one night. Prior to going to bed, Caitlin's mother had complained of a headache -- and she never woke back up.

"Nobody sees that coming," cried Caitlin, who lost her parents and grandparents all within three years.

Caitlin said her mother's lifestyle revolved around drugs and they never had a solid relationship. Caitlin admitted she chose Matt over her mother when confronted with an ultimatum, and she felt bad about having been "an assh-le" the last time they saw each other.

Matt did his best to comfort and support Caitlin during this difficult time, and she acknowledged Matt was the only family she had left.

MARCELINO AND BRITTANY

Brittany served two years in prison for conspiracy to commit burglary.

Brittany planned a barbecue and 40th birthday party for Marcelino, and the bash welcomed both of their friends. Brittany was nervous, however, because she had found out she's pregnant earlier that day.

Brittany invited her ex, Amanda, to the party, but Amanda brought a "friend," which seemed to rub Brittany the wrong way. Brittany was just hoping Amanda and Marcelino could make amends and get along.

Marcelino got angry every time Amanda came around, but Brittany assured Amanda everything was going to be okay. Marcelino thought a relationship between two females could never compete with what a man could offer a woman.

Amanda's friend then told Brittany that Marcelino was judgmental of women behind bars, and the admission made Brittany furious. Brittany thought Amanda's "b-tch ass friend" was way out of line and she even considered fighting the girl.

Brittany then determined Amanda and her friend both needed to leave Marcelino's party. Marcelino said Brittany can become "volatile" when she's angry, so it was definitely time for them to go.
