Louise Roe will be replacing Elle Macpherson and serving as Fashion Star's new host.

Roe, a British fashion journalist who previously hosted The CW's Plain Jane reality makeover series, will host Fashion Star's upcoming second season on NBC, Deadline Hollywood reported.

Macpherson had announced she would no longer host Fashion Star but continue to serve as one of the show's executive producers in June.

"As executive producer of Fashion Star I'm really excited by our choice of Louise as host for the second season, I think her presence will energize and surprise," Macpherson reportedly said in a statement.

Roe said her new gig on Fashion Star is "an absolute dream job" for her, according to the website.

Added the U.K. presenter and clothing designer, "As a host I love working with a live audience, but I'm also looking to use my experience as a journalist and designer, to very much empathize with the buyers and contestants."

Fashion Star's celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos will all return for the reality fashion competition's next season, which is scheduled to air on Sunday nights beginning in January.
