Although Little People, Big World's dramatic fifth-season finale on Monday night appeared to show Matt Roloff suffering a heart attack, the family patriarch wants to assure viewers he is alive and well.

"I am very much alive and healthy and would like to thank all my friends and fans for their concern," Roloff told TMZ in a Wednesday report.

Roloff instead said he suffers from vertigo.

"For those wondering... the reality of my collapsing was REAL," Roloff posted Wednesday afternoon to his Facebook account.

"I continue to fight Vertigo dizzy spells. I'm now on the right meds. Happy to say I'm doing much better... haven't hit the floor in months."

TLC recently renewed Little People, Big World for a sixth season, which is currently scheduled to debut September 6.
