Last Comic Standing's judges determined Season 9's five finalists during Wednesday night's broadcast on NBC.

Last Comic Standing judges Roseanne Barr, Norm Macdonald and Keenen Ivory Wayans watched 10 semifinalist comics perform standup routines in order to narrow down the talented field to only five.

The Top 5 comics who will compete in the finals are Michael Palascak, Ian Baag, Dominique, Andy Erikson and Clayton English.

The five finalists won their respective comedy duels against a fellow competitor. The judges were tasked with picking a champion out of each of the five matchups.

Palascak squared off against Taylor Tomlinson.

Macdonald voted for Palascak to move on, Barr voted for Tomlinson and then Wayans served as the tiebreaker. Wayans' vote went to Palascak because his set was more planned and he has a little more experience, which gave him the edge.

Baag faced off against Francisco Ramos.

Macdonald wanted Baag to advance, as did Wayans. Barr's vote wasn't needed, but she revealed she also would have voted for Baag.

Dominique went up against Sheng Wang.

Wayans picked Wang because of his great landlord jokes. Barr, however, selected Dominique. Macdonald broke the tie by advancing Dominique, saying that if they were both musicians, the songwriting was equal but Dominique was the better singer.

Erikson dueled Ryan Conner for a spot in the finale.

Barr and Macdonald both voted for Erikson. Wayans noted he would've voted the same way.

English got matched with Joe List.

Macdonald wanted List to go through to the final round, but Wayans voted for English. Barr nervously decided English should move on.

Last Comic Standing's Season 9 finale will air next week on Wednesday at 10PM ET/PT on NBC.
