The 19-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star said in the October/November issue of Complex that she and the 26-year-old rapper are inseparable despite opposition to their relationship and a brief split.

"The first year we started hanging out, everyone around him told him not to be with me. I still get comments like, 'Don't be with him.' But we're not doing it for the public -- we love each other," Jenner said.

"We need to be together at all times," she admitted.

"We never get mad at each other, we just figure things out."

Jenner and Tyga are longtime friends who went public with their relationship at the star's 18th birthday party in August 2015.

The couple took a month-long break in May, and Jenner was linked to rapper PartyNextDoor in the interim.

"I just needed to see what it was like not being with him," she explained. "We realized that wasn't what we wanted."

"Me and Party have a cool relationship. I think he's so talented and I love his music. But I wouldn't say we dated. It never really got to that boyfriend-girlfriend stage. It was just fun. I was doing what I wanted to do," the star added.

Jenner showed off an enormous promise ring from Tyga and joked about her future engagement ring in September.

The star previously told "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she and Tyga were "best friends" before they started dating.
