Kristin Cavallari has made it known her brother's death has profoundly impacted her.

The news of Michael's body being found in Utah comes just a little over two weeks after Kristin welcomed her third child with NFL Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. Kristin gave birth to a daughter, Saylor James, on November 23.
Michael's 2014 Honda Civic was found abandoned the day after Thanksgiving on a remote dirt road in Utah with its engine on and the airbag deployed.
There were no traces of Michael, 30, at the time, and four days ago, he was reported missing. Michael lived in San Clemente, CA, but his last credit card transactions and surveillance-camera footage show he had stopped at a convenience store in Monticello to ask for directions to Salt Lake City in the early morning hours before his car was discovered.
According to sources, trouble followed Michael for a lot of his life, which would appear to explain Kristin's "[he's] finally at peace" sentiment in her statement. He was arrested with a shotgun shortly before disappearing.
Kristin appeared on MTV's The Hills and Laguna Beach about 10 years ago. She also competed on ABC's thirteenth season of Dancing with the Stars.
