Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian's wedding reportedly left the groom's family "appalled."

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York star and Humphries' Saturday wedding featured an abundance of cameras, bedazzled jewels and more than 200 TV crew members -- a spectacle that apparently shocked the New Jersey Nets star's loved ones who were expecting an intimate ceremony, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

Humphries' family "mostly looked appalled by the entire thing," a source told Us.

"Everybody felt awkward, like it was all for the cameras and more like a TV show than a wedding."

However, the source also claimed Humphries' family still "cheered when Kim and Kris were pronounced husband and wife."

E! will air Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, a two-part special documenting the wedding event and the activities leading up to it, on October 9 and October 10.

According to Us, Kardashian repeatedly told guests the overly extravagant ceremony -- which featured a Swarovski crystal cross at the altar and "rhinestones up to wazoo" -- was "our version of the royal wedding."

The event was "100 percent Kardashian," another source told the magazine on the ceremony, which took place in front of 450 guests at a private estate in Montecito, CA.

"It was so hard to take it all seriously," a third source added.

Humphries, 26, and Kardashian, 30, got engaged in May after six months of dating.
