Kim Kardashian files for divorce from new husband Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday from New Jersey Nets team member Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage, court records show.

Kardashian cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and requested Humphries pay his own lawyers' fees for the divorce proceedings, TMZ said.
She also requested Humphries be denied spousal support.
The couple got engaged last May after about six months of dating, then tied the knot in August. A special called "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event" aired on E! earlier this month.
