The 33-year-old singer announced she and Blackstock welcomed a son April 12 in a Twitter post Thursday, revealing they named the infant Remington Alexander.

"Our little baby boy has arrived!! Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love!" she tweeted.

The former "American Idol" winner announced her second pregnancy in August while mid-concert in Los Angeles.

"I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm totally pregnant," she told the audience after breaking down while performing "Piece by Piece."

"I'd like to apologize to my husband. [The announcement] was not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy or something."

Clarkson had a difficult second pregnancy and was forced to seek medical help for her all-day sickness.
