Kate Gosselin is looking to up the ante when it comes to finding a new man -- not in quality, but in age.
The 36-year-old reality TV star said she is looking for a mature, career-oriented man who could take on all the responsibilities of a big family.
"It would be really great to find somebody in real life who can handle the stress around here and who can love my kids the way I do," Gosselin said. "I want someone who is strong and smart and driven. I think those are the best qualities." The single mom, who has been dealing with the aftermath of her public tumultuous marriage and divorce to Jon Gosselin, explained how she's "open to the option" of giving love another shot despite her busy lifestyle. "I'm at the point where I'm like, 'Okay, there's got to be somebody out there who would work.' If it's meant to be, it'll be. And if not, then whatever. I'm happy as I am," Gosselin added. "I think everyone who is single worries that they'll grow old alone, but I don't have a lot of time to worry about it." While Gosselin is hoping to find new love and reportedly has no intention to reconcile with her 34-year-old ex-husband, she told People her relationship with Jon has been improving. "It's just naturally gotten more peaceful, which is good. He's working now, which is great. He has somewhere else to put his attention, which is good," Kate said. "The kids enjoy spending time with him. They wish he would see them more, but as long as they come home happy -- and more or less they do -- I'm okay with that, so that's good."
