Kate Gosselin is receiving a new do for Dancing with the Stars.

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star is having her $7,000 hair extension removed on Wednesday before new extensions are put in on Thursday, her stylist Ted Gibson told RadarOnline in a Tuesday report.
"We're taking them out and we're not putting them back in until Thursday. So she'll have short hair for a day," Gibson told RadarOnline.
"We're actually doing three different shades of blonde, a caramel, a beige blond and a little bit of a lighter blonde."
Gosselin is paired with Tony Dovolani for Dancing with the Stars tenth season, which premieres March 22 on ABC -- and Gibson said the new do will last as long as tGosselin and Dovolani are still in the competition.
"The extensions will last through the whole time she's on the show," he told RadarOnline.
