Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are ready for a new adventure together in The Big Apple.

The eleventh-season The Bachelorette star has revealed that she and her fiance are moving to New York City together, People reported.

"I'm very excited to be a full-blown New Yorker," Kaitlyn, 32, told the magazine.

Kaitlyn and Shawn are moving because the brunette beauty will be hosting Home for the Holidays, a Broadway show that will run at the August Wilson Theatre in November and December.

"Growing up in Canada, I can handle the cold, but it's a whole new ballgame being in the city," admitted Kaitlyn, who currently lives in Nashville, TN, with Shawn, a 30-year-old personal trainer. "It's like a winter wonderland."

As host of the show, Kaitlyn will be able to contribute to a few of its songs, which will reportedly feature stars from American Idol, America's Got Talent and The Voice. Kaitlyn therefore views her new gig as a dream come true.

"Since I was little, my dream was to be on a stage singing or dancing," Kaitlyn revealed. "I've maybe been putting it out into the universe since I was five. And now, it's finally happening!"

Kaitlyn, however, suggested the move to New York is going to be temporary.

"It's a big deal because I get to go do a show every single night on Broadway we get to live in New York for a little minute, but it's so exciting. It's a Christmas little family holiday show," she said.

There also appears to be another big plus of moving to New York while Kaitlyn hosts the Broadway show.

"Shawn's family's Thanksgiving in Connecticut is a big deal -- they call it Thanksmas. So we'll be able to do that, which is so nice," Kaitlyn gushed.

Kaitlyn and Shawn met and got engaged on The Bachelorette in 2015 and have been going strong for about two-and-a-half years now. She chose Shawn over runner-up Nick Viall on her The Bachelorette finale.

Kaitlyn, a former dance teacher who hosts a podcast called Off the Vine, explained to People why she believes her relationship has lasted -- unlike most romances that come out of the ABC reality dating franchise.

"I honestly think it depends on the people," Kaitlyn said, although she doesn't exactly have the ball rolling on wedding plans.

"I truly think Shawn and myself are supposed to be together. We want to work through any challenges -- we will fight for anything because our relationship is meant to be."
