John McCain "honored" to have support of 'The Hills' star Heidi Montag

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain has millions of supporters across America, but he was especially pleased to hear he's being backed by The Hills' co-star Heidi Montag.

"I'm honored to have Heidi's support," McCain toldTime's Swampland blog in Pensacola, FL on Wednesday. Montag toldUs Weekly in the magazine's April 14 issue that she planned to endorse the 71-year-old the senior United States Senator from Arizona in November's presidential election.
"I'm voting for John McCain," she told Us. "I'm a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience."
Despite Montag's willingness to take a stance on an issue that actually matters, her one-time fiance and current beau Spencer Pratt immediately discredited it.
"I don't think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for," Pratt told Us.
However Pratt apparently underestimated The Hills' popularity.
"I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started," McCain told Time.
