Jessa welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with husband Ben Seewald on Thursday, People reported.

The couple's son reportedly weighed 9 pounds and 11 ounces when he was born and measured over 21 inches long. They have chosen to hold off on revealing the newborn's name for an unknown reason.

Jessa, 23, and Ben, 20, shared the first photo of their little one and intend to post more on their website theseewaldfamily.com soon.

Jessa's due date was November 1, which is also when she and Ben celebrated their first wedding anniversary. The former 19 Kids & Counting star was anxious about her child's arrival so she had confessed to eating an entire pineapple late last week in the hope of inducing labor.

Jessa and Ben announced they were expecting their first child in April and chronicled the pregnancy all over social media with updates, photos and personal thoughts.

Jessa and her sister Jill Dillard will be starring in several upcoming specials on TLC called Counting On. The birth of Jessa's son will reportedly be a major storyline.

The Duggar family's reality show 19 Kids & Counting was pulled off the air following reports Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's eldest son Josh Duggar had molested five girls -- including Jessa and Jill -- when he was younger, and after Josh confirmed such news, the network received backlash and was forced to cancel the hit series entirely in July.

Josh entered rehab in late August after hackers released private information about his paid subscriptions on the extramarital affairs website called Ashley Madison. He confessed to cheating on his wife Anna, with whom he has four children, and developing a secret pornography addiction.

Although Jessa and Jill previously made statements about how they forgave Josh for his mistakes, Jessa appeared to turn her back on him in September by sharing a Facebook post written by her father-in-law Michael Seewald in which he called Josh a "hypocritical Christian."
