Jersey Shore is returning to Seaside Heights for another summer of fun.
MTV has announced Jersey Shorewill return for a sixth season which will film in Seaside Heights, NJ this summer and feature the show's entire cast -- including pregnant castmember Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.
"America's favorite housemates will all return to their home-away-from-home, and the house dynamic is headed into unchartered territory... as their lives outside the 'Shore' take off in exciting new directions. While things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same," the network stated in a press release announcing Jersey Shore's sixth season.
Snooki -- who had previously falsely denied reports that she was pregnant -- confirmed her pregnancy and engagement to fiance Jionni LaValle earlier this month in a cover story interview in Us Weekly magazine.
The Jersey Shore star told Us she was 15 weeks pregnant and had learned she was expecting "right after New Year's" -- causing immediate concern given her holiday celebrations.
During the interview, Snooki also said that while MTV had yet to confirm whether it planned to film another season ofJersey Shore in Seaside Heights this summer, there was no way she would live in the cast's usual house given she is expecting.
"If anything, I'll visit the shore. I'm not living in that house being pregnant," Snooki told Us.
In addition, she had also vowed not to partake in the cast's usual nightlife while in Seaside Heights.
"I don't want to be one of those moms who's pregnant in a club. It's disgusting," she said.
Jersey Shore's fifth season finale aired last week on MTV and currently ranks as the highest-rated cable series of the year among the Persons 12-34 ratings demographic.
