Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron informed home viewers several minutes into last night's broadcast that Seymour was not in attendance due to "a suspected case of food poisoning."

"Throughout the day we did the dress rehearsal and she started to complain a little bit about her stomach," Seymour's professional partner Tony Dovolani told Entertainment Tonight in an interview following last night's results show broadcast.  "I always want to be cautious.  I said get the EMT, let's check her out and all that."

Seymour was then taken by ambulance to a hospital, where she was treated for food poisoning and released several hours later, according to Entertainment Tonight.  She reportedly spent the night at home with her husband James and was back at rehearsals this morning.

"She's feeling much better," Dovolani told Entertainment Tonight.

Part of the reason for Seymour's good mood is presumably due to the fact that she survived last night's results show to dance another week.  Seymour and Dovolani received a 22 out of 30 possible points for their jive routine during Monday night's performance episode, the lowest judges score received by any of the seven remaining couples.

While Seymour wasn't in attendance to learn her fate during last night's broadcast -- Dovolani was -- and he looked utterly amazed when informed the couple wasn't eliminated based on a combination of the judges scores and home viewer votes.

"I gave her the news [that we were safe]," he told Entertainment Tonight.  "In fact, I screamed the news.  I was kind of like, 'Yeah baby! We're in it!'  So she was like, 'Yeah!  When do we start practicing?'  I'm like, 'Get better!'  It was one of those."

Seymour was also said to be "devastated" to learn Disney's The Cheetah Girls co-star Sabrina Bryan was the sixth celebrity participant eliminated from Dancing with the Stars 5, according to Entertainment Tonight.
