Madison and Hugh Hefner, Playboy's founder and editor-in-chief, split in the Fall of 2008 after they determined they wanted different things out of their relationship. Madison desired to get married and have children, while Hefner was hesitant to wed again after two failed marriages that ended in divorce.
Holly's World, originally titled Planet Holly, first premiered in December 2009 as a one-off special. However, its impressive ratings led E! to order an eight-episode season which debuted in June 2010.
The network then premiered a second season of Holly's World in January 2011, however the series was canceled after the second season concluded in April of that year.
