Fox to debut Mark Burnett's 'Our Little Genius' game show January 13

Fox has announcedOur Little Genius, a new Mark Burnett-produced game show that will challenge child geniuses with difficult questions for an opportunity to win money for their families, will premiere Wednesday, January 13 at 9PM ET/PT.

Following its debut, Our Little Genius will move to its regular Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot beginning January 19.
Our Little Genius -- which Fox ordered earlier this month -- will follow children from 6- to 12-years-old as they answer increasingly difficult questions in their area of expertise in an attempt to win their family hundreds of thousands of dollars.
However the child's parents can stop the game at any time and instead choose to walk away with the winnings up to that point. To help aid the adults' decision, they will be allowed to check with a panel of experts including professors, doctors and scientists.
Our Little Genius is being produced by Zoo Production, with Burnett, Barry Poznick and John Stevens serving as its executive producers.
American Idol ninth-season episodes will serve as the lead-in for Our Little Genius.
