Miller, who played eighteen seasons with the Indiana Pacers and is currently twelfth on the NBA's all-time scoring list, told Us that he was approached to appear on the fourth season of the smash-hit ABC reality ballroom dancing competition, but declined.
After newly retired all-time NFL rushing leader Emmitt Smith took homeDancing with the Stars' third season crown and recently retired all-time NFL receiving leader Jerry Rice was the runner-up on the show's second season, Miller would seem like a logical fit. However he told Us Smith is the reason he decided to pass on the offer.
"He ruined it for all athletes because he was so good," Miller, currently working as a NBA analyst for TNT, told the magazine.
