Big Brother fifteenth-season houseguest Aaryn Gries is now an engaged woman.

Gries, a 23-year-old from San Antonio, TX, announced on Instagram Monday night her boyfriend of six months, Nick Williams, had popped the question.

"Guess it's my turn y'all! #WeAreEngaged!" Gries captioned a photo of the happy couple and her huge diamond ring.

According to TooFab, Williams allowed Gries to pick out any ring she desired at Robbins Brothers in Houston while they were jewelry shopping. The 1.6-carat sparkler is reportedly exactly what she always wanted.

Gries admitted in October 2013 she was falling in and out of depression after her Big Brother season, during which she had made national headlines for racist "jokes" and homophobic slurs. Gries had thrown out the word "queer" and suggested an Asian-American houseguest should "shut up and go make some rice" among other insults.

Once she left the show, Gries was overwhelmed with "hate" messages on social media and claimed she had never intended to hurt anyone although her comments were "insensitive and mean."

Gries had also been dropped from her modeling agency at the time. Zephyr Talent had revealed in a statement the agency did not condone the model's "prejudices and other beliefs."

Gries describes herself on Twitter as a ranch owner, bridal stylist, wedding coordinator, and photographer.
