LaKisha Jones has gotten married.
During the ceremony, the minister made light of Jones' American Idol experiences by momentarily mimicking the role of a television host and joking with the audience as they looked on. "Pay attention. What I'm about to say is very important: We'll have the results right after these messages," he said, according to People. Former sixth-season Idol finalists Haley Scarnato, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen and Sanjaya Malakar were reportedly among the wedding's 50 guests. "I'm just so happy for her," Malakar told People. "I'm happy for her future, I'm happy for her daughter [that] they can be a family. It's all that I could ever wish for her." Jones' five-year-old daughter Brionne served as flower girl at the ceremony, which featured an "old-fashioned Hollywood glamour" theme that included white candles on floating black stands and red rose petals on the floor, according to People. Jones reportedly wore a strapless Alfred Angelo gown, custom Stuart Weitzman shoes and Neil Lane jewelry. Jones and Davis reportedly met through mutual friends. Davis proposed to her in June by surprising her with a Louis Vuitton purse that had belonged to his late mother. They plan to honeymoon in Barbados, according to People.
