Former 'American Idol' finalist Chris Sligh and wife have a baby girl

From singing on the American Idol stage to the nursery room, Chris Sligh can now hum lullabyes to his new baby girl.

The former American Idol sixth-season finalist and his wife Sarah welcomed their first child, Keira Lennon Sligh, on Sunday, Sligh's representative toldPeople.
Keira arrived two weeks late and was born at 6:06AM at a Nashville-area hospital. She measured 21.5 inches long and seven pounds and 12 ounces at birth.
"She's well worth the wait," Sligh said. "Keira is the most beautiful thing we have ever seen and we are just thrilled that she arrived happy and healthy."
According to the 32-year-old, Keira was the only girl's name he and his 29-year-old wife could agree on while Lennon is a tribute to former Beatle John Lennon.
"I'm a Beatles fan," he told People. "Luckily I managed to negotiate a Beatle into my child's name."
