Hosted by The Next Food Network Star second-season champ Guy Fieri, Ultimate Recipe Showdown's second season will follow a similar format to its first season, which aired earlier this year.

Each episode will feature four amateur cooks who created a different culinary concoction in one of six different categories -- comfort food, burgers, cakes, hot and spicy, desserts, or hometown favorites.

At the conclusion of each episode, the cook who created the best recipe in his or her category will receive $25,000 and the chance to have their recipe featured nationwide at T.G.I. Friday's restaurants.

In addition to the debut of Ultimate Recipe Showdown's second season, Food Network also announced the premieres of Will Work for Food and Chopped.

Will Work for Food, a new reality series hosted by former The Next Food Network Star fourth-season finalist Adam Gertler, will premiere Monday, January 19 at 8:30PM ET/PT; while Chopped, a new reality competition series hosted by former Queer Eye "Fab 5" member and Top Chef judge Ted Allen, will debut Tuesday, January 13th at 10pm ET/PT.
