"We have been working hard the past 12 months filming 15 brand new episodes of #FlipOrFlop," Christina captioned a photo of the real estate and house flipping duo Thursday on Instagram.

"I'm super excited to share that the Season 7 episodes we've been filming will finally air on @hgtv starting May 31! I think you're going to love this season -- we've spiced things up a bit."

HGTV has announced the new episodes of Flip or Flop will premiere Thursday, May 31, at 9PM ET/PT.

The series will continue to follow Christina and Tarek as they buy dilapidated houses in Southern California, transform them into beautifully renovated homes, and flip them for profit.

The new episodes of Flip or Flop, however, will chronicle challenges other than ones associated with home renovations, as Tarek and Christina also must maneuver through their new relationship status as exes who have remained business partners and are trying to amicably co-parent their children Brayden and Taylor.

"Flipping houses put us in the spotlight, and while it was tough before, now the pressure is really on," Tarek, 36, said in a statement. "We're still trying to figure out how all of this is going to work."

Christina and Tarek finalized their divorce back in January, one year after Tarek initially filed the paperwork in court and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their seven-year marriage ending.

The HGTV reality stars publicly announced their split in December 2016 although they quietly separated in Spring 2016 after a blowout fight that resulted in police visiting their California home.

"It's all new territory," Christina, 34, said of working with Tarek on Flip or Flop.

"When our marriage fell apart it was more public than we could have imagined. But we're picking up the pieces and we'll still work together to support our kids."

Tarek and Christina will begin with their latest flip in Diamond Bar, CA, featuring an outdated property riddled with rodents that has a lot of potential, according to HGTV. But as they execute design plans and renovations, the pair realize working together may be more difficult than the flip itself.

"This would be awkward for any exes," Christina continued in her statement. "Since we have to see each other every day, it's beyond awkward. I'm planning on staying friendly and keeping things light."

In recent months, Tarek appears to have been casually dating and enjoying the single life.

Christina, on the other hand, has moved on with British TV host and car mechanic Ant Anstead.

Ant gushed earlier this week on social media about how Christina "totally gets" him and has an amazing sense of humor, while Christina bragged in March how fate played a role in introducing her to a "talented, humble, kind and patient" man six months ago.
