The woman who won the "undying love" of rapper Flavor Flav on the VH1 reality show, "Flavor of Love" says in real life, they're just friends.

Nikki "Hoopz" Alexander, 23, of Dearborn, Mich., said the show's finale, which drew nearly 6 million viewers, jump-started her career but not necessarily her love life, the Detroit Free Press reported Friday.

"I'm not in love with him," she said. "We're not about to get married. And he's not in love with me. We're better off just being friends. I mean, he lives in L.A., Las Vegas, New York. I understand. I live in Michigan. He's more into keeping to entertainment. I'm more just chillin'."

Alexander said she has been passing the time reading scripts, having parties and doing magazine shoots.

She will be back Sunday night for a "Flavor of Love" reunion special. During the show, Flav had to pick from among 20 women competing for his affections.
