The longstanding feud between The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad has come to an apparent end following a meeting between the two that occurred on Tuesday evening at STK in Los Angeles, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

Conrad had arrived at the restaurant to dine with close friends and family following her runway show at Los Angeles Fashion Week. Montag and boyfriend Spencer Pratt were eating together at the restaurant's bar, Us reported.

After spotting Conrad, Montag was able to negotiate her way to Conrad's table where the two spoke and eventually hugged.

"Yes, it's true. Heidi was at STK. She came in to the after party to congratulate me on the show," Conrad confirmed to Us. "It was nice of her. I appreciated it."

Montag and Conrad's much publicized feud began 2007 when Montag moved out of the apartment she had shared with Conrad in favor of boyfriend Spencer Pratt's house during The Hills' second-season finale.

The feud escalated after Montag and Pratt continually insisted that a sex tape featuring Conrad and her ex-beau Jason Wahler existed. Both Conrad and Wahler denied the existence of any tape.

However, despite their continued mudslinging, Montag had shown signs in recent weeks that she wanted to reconcile her friendship with Conrad.

"Obviously I miss her, and she was my best friend for a really long time," Montag recently told Extra, according to Us. "Hopefully one day we will be able to work through this and move on and patch some things up."

According to E! News, The Hills' cameras didn't record Montag and Conrad's reunion.
